KAMI ingredients

Wheat germ oil
Our unrefined wheat germ oil is an excellent active ingredient with a deep, penetrating effect. Its high content of tocopherols and carotenoids makes it ideal for mature, barrier-damaged skin, as it improves circulation. Its high content of unsaturated fatty acids makes it a good free radical scavenger. Vitamins E, A, D, and B, as well as trace elements, nourish and re-epithelialize stressed skin.

Tanaisie Annuelle
The active ingredient oil from the yellow-flowering Mediterranean tansy (Tanacetum annuum) has moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and soothing effects thanks to its natural chamazulene, which is also a component of chamomile essential oil. Its earthy-floral scent also has a stress-reducing effect on the skin and mind. It inhibits free radicals and strengthens the immune system.

Rice germ oil
Rice germ oil, thanks to its balanced blend of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, is an exceptionally balancing oil used for both acne and atopic dermatitis. The phytosterols it contains strengthen the skin barrier and soothe sensitive skin. It can deeply moisturize, bind, and soothe itching.

poppy seed oil
It ensures well-nourished, soft skin, smooths, and strengthens the skin barrier. Its unsaturated fatty acids (primarily alpha-linolenic acid as a polyunsaturated fatty acid) have antioxidant and soothing effects. Palmitic acid, a saturated fatty acid, has an enveloping effect. Poppy seed oil regulates sebum production, reducing excess sebum production while stimulating it in dry skin.

Carrot seed oil
This oil stimulates cell regeneration and has a clarifying effect, even on acne. It is very nourishing and soothing, even for mature and irritated skin. Containing 40-50% carotenes, it also protects irritated skin from superinfections.

Plum kernel oil
Unrefined plum kernel oil has a high linoleic acid content (approx. 70%), is easily and deeply absorbed, and thus promotes skin suppleness. Its deep penetration can catalytically enhance the effects of other oils.

Lavender oil
Essential oil known for its anti-inflammatory, skin-loving, and antiviral properties. Its scent has a stress-relieving and harmonizing effect.

olive oil
The skin-care properties of olive oil have been known since ancient times; it has a pain-relieving and regenerating effect, but also stimulates circulation and has a warming effect – which is why it is used only in small quantities in KAMI products.

Calendula extract
Calendula CO2 extract strengthens the skin's barrier, especially against environmental influences. Gentle yet effective, it supports natural skin renewal through anti-inflammatory faradiole esters. It has what's known as antiproliferative effects, meaning that cell regeneration in the skin occurs in an orderly manner, improving the arrangement of the skin's layers (as a metaphor: a 'beautiful knitting pattern').

Shea Butter
The oil from the kernels of the shea tree is traditionally produced by African women. Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, beta carotene, and allantoin, it's ideal for the care of many skin conditions, counteracts skin aging, and helps with atopic dermatitis and other inflammatory problems. It's also non-comedogenic, meaning it doesn't clog pores, making it suitable for acne.

Aloe Vera
The desert plant aloe vera is said to have a variety of positive effects on our skin: It moisturizes, soothes, and has anti-inflammatory properties. The plant gel is a true skincare powerhouse, containing enzymes, minerals, polysaccharides, vitamins, and antioxidants.

Grape seed oil
We use rich, unrefined oil, a type of oil used for skin care since the Middle Ages. The lecithin it contains ensures that the oil is quickly absorbed, transporting other active ingredients. The high content of linoleic acids supports wound healing through improved cell renewal and cell protection.

Marmot oil
Contains natural hydrocortisone, progestin, and progesterone. Since Paracelsus, marmot oil has been credited with pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties. The glucocorticoids also have anti-allergic effects.

Peach kernel oil
Peach kernel oil, extracted from the almonds of peach kernels, is a rapidly absorbed plant oil with a high content of unsaturated fatty acids, making it extremely high-quality. It improves the skin's barrier function, making it ideal for dry, demanding skin.

Copaiba Balsam
Copaiba balsam, also known as Jesuit balsam, is sustainably harvested from the evergreen Copaifera trees in the Amazon. Only approximately 1-2 liters per year are extracted from the tree via a borehole. The indigenous people use the balsam for a variety of skin problems such as acne, fungal infections, and psoriasis, as it is valued for its anti-inflammatory properties. It's ideal for sensitive, barrier-damaged skin that requires a lot of care.

Coconut oil
Coconut oil is a natural, creamy, melt-in-the-mouth vegetable oil that intensively nourishes the skin. It forms a protective, moisture-retaining layer—ideal for dry, stressed skin. Its high content of fatty triglycerides makes it particularly moisturizing and skin-smoothing. It's especially soothing after showering or for rough areas like elbows or hands.

100% natural with medical know-how
Our ingredients have been used in traditional European medicine (TEM) for centuries: The natural corticosteroids in marmot oil soothe inflammation, while linoleic and linolenic acids strengthen the skin. Supported by high-quality plant oils such as poppy seed, plum, and grape seed oil, KAMI penetrates deep into the skin and promotes the regeneration of the skin barrier. Tanaisie annuelle extract and stress-reducing, calming lavender oil complete the care.
These TEM ingredients are complemented by sustainable natural remedies from Latin America and Africa; we use anti-inflammatory Copaiba Balm and moisturizing Aloe Vera, as well as Shea Butter, which is known for its excellent effect on atopic dermatitis.
